Optimization and designing a hospital healthcare system using a Distributed artificial intelligence (multi-agent system )
The interoperability of hospital healthcare systems is a cornerstone of a resilient hospital system that can cope with its current crisis. Many factors are linked to this crisis: the shortage of doctors, the growth in chronic illnesses and the elderly, epidemics (gastro, flu, etc.) and in larger-scale pandemics such as the covid19 crisis are further weakening an already shaky hospital system. The use of new information technologies will make it possible to deal with the difficulties faced by hospitals. Multi-agent systems are a technology that will make it possible to interconnect hospitals and know their status instantaneously, for greater efficiency. This agility will relieve hospital overcrowding, streamline patient flow management, relieve doctors of their duties and, above all, create a resilient hospital system. In this article, we will extend our study to the optimization of hospital healthcare systems using multi-agent technology, which has already proved its worth in decentralized architectures such as the healthcare system model used in northern European countries.
